Your best bet would be to contact Cross country vehicle club in Wellington on
HelpDesk@ccvc.org.nz

They are a large friendly club and will be happy to help you out.

cheers guys for the info and help, tho binned this hilux :( as i decided last night,
the water has oily film in it and been told head problems are common so well send it to pick a part before breaking the bank, bit to much money for me to fix at least anyway, i've got another project already in the garage

The rest of that surf looks to good to send to picapart. An oily residue in the water might just be a left over from the last head so I wouldnt dump it on just that one reason. Even so its only a couple of k tops to fix. If you can afford this sell it as going but broken on trademe. Someone will buy
I hear the train a comin Its rollin down the line. I only hope the rails and sleepers are all installed in time

Brake discs are a common enough part and fitting should be straight forwards. Try Repco or BNT or any auto parts place for a new disc. I would recomend new along with new pads at the same time but Ive used second hand discs in the past. They take longer to bed in and can be quite interesting to drive untill they do.
As for tracks people etc a good place to start is asking where you are?
